July 9-10 GRAND OPENING
Saturday Exhibit Hall opening and reception for all inductees, 2007-2015.
Inductees received a MSHOF baseball cap. All enjoyed a slide show of Bob Green's photographs of teams from the 50's to 70's narrated by Neil Lash, MSHOF President.
Everyone helped identify the players in the teams.
Sunday's vintage game was cancelled due to the weather, ....but....
the Dirigo team will play at Dow field
on September 13.
Sunday's visitors enjoyed a lecture by Jake Newcomb on the history of baseball and the Vintage Baseball League
a selection of Civil War era music by Medomak Valley
High School students.

April 2016 - MSHOF Director Jacob Newcomb has been elected
to the Vintage Baseball Association.
Helen Plourd received the Abby Spector Award in July 2015. The Abby Spector Award is voted on by a committee from the men's association, two women's associations and Golf and Ski present to a women for her ability to play golf and contributions to women's golf. Helen (MSHOF President) was also the first person to receive a life membership in the Women's State Golf Association.

The Midcoast Sports Hall of Fame inducted 8 new
members at the seventh annual induction ceremony and banquet
on October 25, 2014.
The 2014 inductees are (alphabetically) Dan Flanagan, Kevin Jenkins, Terry Kenniston, Doug Libby, Mike MacDonald, Rick Simonds, Susan Ware Page, Walt White.
To publicly recognize outstanding athletes from all eras of sports history in Midcoast Maine. Inductees will be recognized for their achievements and contributions to athletics whether it be as an athlete, coach or contributor.
Requirements to be considered for Induction into the Midcoast Sports Hall of Fame:
Attended one of the schools in the Midcoast ME area
OR coached, taught or administered at one of the schools in the Midcoast area ME area
OR made significant contributions to organized sports in the Midcoast ME area, i.e. as an athlete, reporter, official, broadcaster, trainer, designer, instructor or other associated position.
